I am a photographic artist, and a fine art studio artist. As a process-driven artist, I have created simplified techniques to maximize my interaction with the natural world and the physics and alchemy of light, chemistry, and space, using camera-less, pinhole and plastic camera techniques to capture imagery.
I am interested in the interaction of humans with the natural world, and in bringing a new perspective to the concept of conservation and preservation. Most recently my photographic work has focused on water quality issues in the Colorado River, Sabino Creek in Tucson, Arizona, Cienega Creek in southeastern Arizona, and in the Colorado Delta.
